So....yesterday was my Birthday! I'm 20 now, supposedly not a teenager any more
I like this number, it's nice and round))
Some people asked me, "So, do you feel older?" and I never know what to say. Actually, I do know, but it's not something they necessarily want to hear. How does a date in the calendar make a person older or more mature? Because really, a Birthday is only a date in the calendar, a way to calculate how many years a person has lived on the Earth. I've had many moments this year after which I could have confidently said, "Yes, I feel older now".
Anyways, I've had too much fun in the last few days and now I'm paying for it....
On Thursday my roommates took me out to dinner and then to the movie ("Enchanted")and then - for ice-cream! It was a ton of fun))))
On Friday we went to the Unofficial Spring Break dance which was also fun!
On Saturday I went to the Broom hockey activity! Which was.....you guessed right! Tons of fun! haha)) It was very tiring though and I still have bruises from that...
When my friends and I came home, at 1 in the morning, we decided to watch "A Walk To Remember". I love that movie! It's a perfect chick-flick)))
On a Sunday morning we had to wake up at 7:30 to make breakfast for our friends, so I didn't get enough sleep......but the breakfast was great - those guys are hilarious!
In the afternoon we drove for three hours, there and back, to go celebrate my "host dad's" and mine Birthdays.
On Monday, my actual Birthday, my friends and I were planning to go play Lazer Tag or go skating - because I really want to learn how to skate, but we ended up not doing either of those. They actually surprised me with a Birthday cake and a present! After that we played volleyball for about 2 hours.
How can I sum up this weekend? FUN! And that's not counting all those people who remembered about my Birthday and congratulated me, some of them even multiple times
))))
AND, now I'm paying for all of this happiness.......
Today I woke up in pain, I slept through my first class and feel like crap. My whole body aches, I have bruises from Broom hockey and volleyball and they hurt real bad
...+I think I'm sick, because I have a stuffed nose and my body hurts and I have a headache. I think I should go get some medicine...
But don't worry, I'll be fine)))) It's not as bad as it could have been, although it's not as good as it could have been either
I have to go to work now and earn myself some money...and then to class...hm..today will be a busy day...
